Northside Pedestrian Safety Infrastructure

In collaboration with the Vision Zero Northside committee of Northside Community Council and the Northside Business Association, NEST applied for and won a $295,000 grant from the City of Cincinnati Department of Community and Economic Development’s (DCED) Neighborhood Business District Improvement Program (NBDIP).

In addition to the crosswalk and bumpout improvements already completed or in progress, NEST is exploring other ways to further improve the pedestrian infrastructure in the Northside Business District such as improved bus benches and way-finding signage.
