NEST’s third “Focus Area”, the area bordered by Blue Rock Street/ Spring Grove Avenue/ Colerain Avenue (West of Hamilton Avenue), has significant vacancy. Our work in this area initially focuses on revitalizing vacant homes and will work in parallel with transformational projects in the lower blocks of Northside’s business district.

These housing projects were subsidized by the City of Cincinnati’s NOFA funding awards. Some homes were sold under income-restrictions, offered homebuyer down-payment assistance through City and Federal funding programs or both.
